Join our kitten waiting list

We don’t keep a shop window full of kittens. Litters here are occasional, so instead we keep a list of the people who would like one. When a litter is on the way, we tell them.

That is what this page is for. Fill in the form, tell us a little about your home, and you are on it.

Want to see who is here now? Our Siamese and Oriental kittens page has the latest litter.

How the waiting list works

Your enquiry comes straight to the two of us. Here is what we ask, and why.

  1. What you are hoping for. Siamese or Oriental, boy or girl, the colour you would love (“no preference” is a perfectly good answer), and when you would like to bring a kitten home.
  2. Your home. Who lives there, who is out at work all day, and whether there are other cats or dogs. Tell us properly. It matters more to us than anything else on the form.
  3. Litter news, if you want it. Tick the box and we will email you when a litter that might suit you is on the way. It is optional, it is separate from everything else, and every email has a link to stop them.

What comes with a Burnthwaites kitten

Every kitten is reared in our home as part of the family. We are an FIV/FeLV-negative household, and our vet health checks every kitten at least twice before they leave.

Pet kittens are GCCF registered on the non-active register (not for breeding), vaccinated, and protected against fleas and worms. They go home with a full kitten pack, including a diet sheet and a five-generation pedigree.

And then there is the part that will not fit in a kitten pack: a lifetime’s support. Whenever you need advice or help, for the whole of your cat’s life, we are here.

Are these the right cats for you?

Siamese and Orientals are not ornaments. They talk, they follow you about, and they will have an opinion on whatever you happen to be doing.

We love that. Not everyone does.

If you would rather have a quieter, less demanding cat, have a look at our British Shorthair kittens. Same house, different prefix, and a great deal less to say for themselves.
