Sid, Suzy and Gizzy have all had a good first week with moderate to good weight gains. Very sadly despite my best efforts poor little Johnny lost weight after he was born and never seemed to put much on in the following five days. Johnny passed away quietly in his sleep on the fifth day of his very short life. Sid, Suzy and Gizzy have all parted with their umbilical cords and Sid and Suzy have both their eyes open, for some reason Gizzy eyes are not yet open and it is something I am monitoring very closely. (I think he just likes to do everything at his own pace......SLOWLY!) Nancy is proving to be a devoted mother and is doing an excellent job with her first litter. I am very proud of Nancy and her kittens and I am really excited to watch them grow.
