Angel safely delivered her first litter of six kittens on 19/5/08, these kittens were sired by our own stud TICA Ch Stenic Supersonic (aka Nic) . Angel and Nic have blessed us with three boys and three girls and I have decided to name them after one of my favorite T.V series 'Angel'. The boys are called Angelus, Spike and Lorne while the girls are called Drusilla, Darla and Cordelia. As their colours start to develop I will update the website but I can say we could have a mixture of Foreign Whites and Seal, Chocolate, Blue and Lilac Points. Angel kept me waiting right up to day sixty seven of her pregnancy, sixty five being the average, before she delivered her babies and I must say I was really proud of the way she handled the whole experience. At first Angel seemed to think that if she ignored the contractions then perhaps the babies would just stay put! Her best friend Rosie decided this was silly and so started to deliver her own babies, see 'The Muppets' diary, this surprised Angel and although a bit confused at first at the arrival of 'Gonzo' she soon settled down to deliver her own babies. It was a bit hectic at times during the dual delivery but both Angel and Rosie were fantastic and as you can see in the photograph above they are very content with their ten new babies. All ten babies have latched on the two mums and both Angel and Rosie are in their element quite happily sharing the maternal duties. I decided that to be on the safe side, I would mark 'The Muppets' ears with a marker pen so as not to get the kittens mixed up but with the constant grooming from both Angel and Rosie I have now resorted to painting their nails with nail varnish which my two young sons find hilarious as three of 'The Muppets' are boys!
